Fundraiser Results!!

My annual fundraiser for breast cancer (see this post) was this past Sunday and it went off without a hitch!  I am so pleased.....we had 40 people registered and we raised over $500.00!   We had a raffle where we raffled off some product gift packages....that alone raised 191.00 and we also had a very special card that we had everyone pay $2.00 a piece to make and they could make as many as they wanted...that raised another $85.00 , so between those two things, the profit from sales and registrations, it was a very good day!   It's so helpful to have support from your community as well....we had a number of local sponsers that helped make the day great :)

We used the "At Home" Simply Scrappin' Kit to complete our albums.  The one thing I have to say about using these kits, is to use the examples on the packaging!  I was feeling some creative blockage and those examples were a big help in getting me going again!  And wouldn't it be easy to use these layouts in 12 x 12 size??  I have a few extra kits so that is just what I may end up doing :)  Happy Scrappin'!

Stamp Out Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Last Day to Register!

It's time for my 3rd annual fundraiser in support of the Weekend to End Breast Cancer!  Last year was a great success with 25 people in attendance, we managed to donate over $600.00 to this very worthwhile cause!  This year, my downline will be participating as well and our goal is $1000.00!

This exciting event will happen on June 2, in Stony Plain, AB from 9am until 9 pm.  Included in the cost of
your registration will be a 5" x 5" Chipboard Art Journal, a Simply Scrappin Kit and the supplies to make 5 amazing cards, lunch, dinner, prizes and a great time! 

The cost will be $45.00 with 20% of all purchases made on this day to be added to the donation...yes, that is our entire sales commission.....but it is worth it to be able to support this charity.
